One of our key competences besides machining is manufacturing sophisticated gearing mechanisms and producing complete assemblies, e.g. for complex compressor systems. The gears are specialised gear systems which allow for a reduction of the input speeds of more than 46,000 1/min to 12,000 1/min. These gears are installed in an ASU (Air Start Unit) and are used on airfields and aircraft carriers across the globe.
